She has studied and worked for many years under Professor Wang Wei, Professor Qi Zuoliang, and other plastic surgery experts, and has rich clinical experience. She specializes in eye plastic surgery and skin management.

Biography

Guo Yu graduated from the Department of Plastic Surgery, Shanghai Ninth People's Hospital. She completed postdoctoral training at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, USA, and served as Assistant Physician in the Department of Plastic Surgery at Queen Mary Hospital, Hong Kong. She specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of skin scars and superficial body tumors, as well as oculonasal aesthetic procedures, fat contouring, botulinum toxin injection for wrinkle reduction and face slimming, laser pigmentation removal, and a series of anti-aging treatments.

She has led a Youth Project of the Shanghai Municipal Health and Family Planning Commission and was selected for the third batch of the Shanghai Young Physician Training Program and the Huadong Hospital Backbone Talent Program. She won the Second Prize for Outstanding Clinical Cases at the Second Young Physician Awards of the Shanghai Medical Association. She has published 12 papers in domestic and international journals and applied for 9 patents. As a key participant, she has participated in multiple National Natural Science Foundation of China projects and subprojects of the 983 Major Project. She has participated in the compilation of textbooks and popular science books and in multiple papers.
